In 2017 a lot of celebrities died. One band capitalised on this....

With poor taste and disease/illness related puns on the brain Tauranga Music Sux alumni Austin Cunningham (Threat.Meet.Protocol/Neo Yahztee), Luke Turner (Threat.Meet.Protocol/Gold Heart Mountaintops) and Conar Johnston (The Cants, Gold Heart Mountaintops)showed their usual lack of tact, taste and respect by starting a slacker pop band that belied an uncharacteristic and unrelenting motivation for playing as many gigs as possible under a different band name whilst honouring/dishonouring the deaths of beloved celebrities and alienating any fan base they may potentially accrue along the way.

Who could forget where they were when they first heard then completely forgot Leonard Crohns Disease, Irritabill Paxton Syndrome, Miscarrie Fisher, Hughrpes Hefner, Deep Vein Tombosis Petty, Cyst Cornell, Chestinfection Bennington, Glendular Fever Campbell, Mary Typhoid Moore, Injerry Lewis, Brain Adamage West, Colon Cancer Meads, Charlesion Manson among others either misplaced or in too poor a taste to mention?

Now after a short hiatus while they patiently waited for another celebrity to die - Staphenfection Hawking are back with their new single via Savant Garde Records 'Bu-bu-bu-rritos' mixed by Justin Bradford and mastered by Evan Pope.

So say goodbye to your favourite celebrities now because these miscreants are waiting, cursing and praying for another to die. And if they don't get one soon they are going to name a band after James Reid and hope it comes true....
